ABS EffeX is a comprehensive range for wastewater collection and treatment, offering advanced technology that gives higher pump reliability, fewer blockages and lower operational costs. The new range is not a modification to an existing design but a completely new concept in submersible wastewater pumping equipment.
The new pump range matches anticipated forthcoming legislation regarding higher motor efficiency for submersible pumping, including the European Union’s energy reduction requirements.
A number of ABS EffeX pumps have already been operating in field trials at various pumping facilities in Europe, exceeding existing requirements for both reliability and energy consumption, a combination that has been historically difficult to achieve.
The ABS EffeX is introduced in the fall of 2009 and during 2010 in Cardo's various markets.
